A remarkable Antique Scottish bracelet made during the mid-Victorian era, Circa 1860. The piece is made up of fabulous barrel and square Agate links held together in Silver settings.
Each Agate is unique and boasts various earthy colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning them the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
Scottish jewellery grew in popularity in the mid- 1800s as Queen Victoria’s frequent trips to her Scottish Castle Balmoral saw her return with Scottish souvenirs and jewellery which influenced the trend in Britain.
The piece is in excellent condition and held securely around the wrist with the addition of a lovely Sterling Silver heart padlock.
