This spectacular antique Victorian ring was made representing the Suffragette movement, circa 1900.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The ring boasts a 0.80ct violet Amethyst in centre with white Diamonds and green Peridots at either side.
The lovely old cut Diamonds are 0.30ct each and superb cut colour and clarity - SI 1 H Colour.
The top gallery is 18ct Yellow Gold with a 9ct Yellow Gold shank.
The ring looks stunning when worn, very eye catching!
